On March 15, 2021, Ksimex specialists took part in an online meeting that became part of the accreditation examination of the educational program “Electronic Computer Engineering” in the specialty “Electronics” of the Department of “Electronic Tools and Information and Computer Technologies” of the Odessa National Polytechnic University.
The purpose of the meeting was to hear the opinion of interested parties on the need and importance of such an EP (educational program), the quality of training of specialists in this EP in ONPU, ways of interaction between the employer and the university to improve this EP.
Such joint work on the educational program of interested companies and the department is interesting and important for each of the parties.
For the department, this is an opportunity to develop the direction and maintain the active interest of applicants. Promptly responding to the growing needs of the dynamically developing industry of electronic devices and automated control systems, updating the EP, adjusting the list of disciplines, the university maintains an actual high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of graduates. The acquired knowledge makes it easier for young specialists to start their professional path in their chosen specialty, allowing them to quickly start solving applied problems in engineering companies.
For students, this is an opportunity to see the applied aspects of the disciplines that the department offers to study, to solve problems in the implementation of real projects: from small robotic machines and stations to large automated complexes, such as grain elevators, transfer complexes, building management systems, factories and others
For engineering companies, this is an opportunity to direct the educational program to the study of that set of basic knowledge, applied skills and software that will allow the graduate in just a few years to effectively strengthen the team of designers, designers, commissioning engineers or other production departments of the company for the successful implementation of automation projects and electricity supply.
The Ksimex company is maximally interested in assisting in the development of educational programs for ONPU students and raising the level of professional knowledge of university graduates. Understanding the importance of developing this area, within the framework of a student project, the Ksimex company annually takes part in ONPU career fairs, attracts students for internships in the company with subsequent employment, the heads of the company’s technical departments act as reviewers of qualification (diploma) works of university graduates, actively participating in the educational process.
